I guess you should always be happy when shows get an ending but in the case of Good Times, should you pleased when the show get a super happy ending?
The Evans clan were pretty real when the show began but by the end, everybody won the lottery! Game over. Why do I hate the fact that they had a happy ending?

I gotta say, I'm kind of glad everything worked out for the Evans family. First, they had been through so much, i think I needed to know things could be OK. I don't how young me would have dealt with Michael getting killed in the crossfire of a drug deal gone bad. Second, I grew up in a poor neighborhood in West Philly. That little bit of reality was great to see, but I had my fill in real life.
BTW, DY-NO-MITE!!!!
John Amos as the Dad really scared me on this show. He looked so mean when he got mad it really terrified me as a kid.
