Some Great DVDs Out Today

Just had to pass this info on as it's a pretty expensive DVD day (if you're me that is) with these two new releases:

First up, the second season of the brilliant UK series The IT Crowd, hands down this one of the funniest things on TV right now. Clever writing, great actors and you don't have to British to enjoy it.

Second, we have the first season of Parker Lewis can't Lose, a show I probably haven't watched since it originally aired but I remember being a big fan of this fast paced and creative comedy. I just hope it holds up, the series was obviously inspired by "Ferris Beuler's Day Off" but completely pwned the TV version of that.

I caught one episode of the IT Crowd on a channel I can't remember. I really enjoyed the show, but couldn't remember where I saw it (it was way up in my cable universe where I don't usually surf around). I recognized some of the cast from some other shows I've enjoyed ('Mighty Boosh' and 'Garth Merenghi's Darkplace.') Unfortunately, a lot of these shows don't get great distribution in the U.S.

Its funny I have the same Parker Lewis experience. I remember it being pretty funny and creative but I haven't seen it since.
